Photoshop: Fill

Earlier this week I made a post about the use of Layer Masks in Photoshop.

Today I bring you another tip/trick/technique… whatever you want to call it… but don’t fear… this one is much more straight forward than masks. It’s less useful… lol… but more straight forward.

It’s the FILL adjustment in your layers palette.

Without further pre-amble, I’ll give you a quick demonstration of one neat use for FILL.

You have the COOLEST accent ever! Oh and great video, I’ll have to come back and watch it again when I’m in shop. :)

    I have an accent? o_O :p

Thanks for watching… I’m hoping to get into the habit of doing more posts like this… so any constructive criticism or suggestions of topics, etc, is appreciated.

eg. When I listen to myself… it sounds like I’m talking way too fast… must try to slow down my words. lol

Nah the speed was good. I’d suggest to practice before the record though, that way you don’t make any “oops” things. :)

    Oh there goes his ego!

Shawn, seriously good demostration. My version of photoshop is old and I’m not sure if I want to buy a new one or not.

Hey Matt… thanks for popping in. :)

As far as Photoshop versions… I’ve only ever used versions CS and up … but I believe most (all?) versions of Photoshop have the same Fill option.

There are surely features that are improved in the new versions… but even the older versions are great programs.
